Miscellaneous pictures that fell through the cracks earlier

Here are a few pictures that I find interesting, but somehow they didn't fit into any category, so fell through the cracks between the other entries. Only a few.

We took a hike up along the Pacific Coast Trail in mid-September, and then cut off to the Hobart Bluff Viewpoint. Nearly to the top, I got this shot of Mt. Mclaughlin poking up behind a nearer ridge. At the top of the overlook one can see to Emigrant Lake and beyond, past Ashland, and into the Rogue Valley.

A few days later we went kayaking at Howard's Prairie Lake. It was a beautiful calm and clear day with lots of wildlife in evidence. Here is Mt. McLaughlin and ducks on the wing. After we pulled out, I took this picture of the ramp and boat docks.

I finally got around to building the new little deck outside of Amelia's room, so here is a picture of Amelia's deck.

We've suspected there are bears around the neighborhood for some time. Hailey saw one early in the morning several weeks ago. I found pretty positive evidence that there is at least one around. If you are squeemish, you may not want to look at this, but for those that aren't, here it is.
