Halloween trip to Benicia and Timber Cove
Who can resist traveling a few miles to see the grandchildren in their halloween costumes?
Not us! We arrived a bit ahead of time, and caught
Ian and Fiona riding their new bikes on the back patio. Eventually it was
time for us to go
collect the goodies, and I went as as the
scariest of all. We went out past the
jack-o-lanterns and into the neighborhood. When we came back, there was a
happy showing of the
loot, as well as a
more somber one. A good time was had by all (except for the kid I scared).
We then went on to Timber Cove for the weekend. While there we visited
Salt Point State Park. There are some fantastic rock formations on the beaches there,
such as the three here:
one,
two,
and uh
three.
