Small airshow in Medford

Medford Air Service had a small airshow in June. I went to the breakfast on Sunday (25th) and took a few pictures afterwards.

The premier airplane at the show was Red Dog XII from Livermore, CA ( see this link). The pilot made several passes and I managed to get a reasonable shot of him buzzing us. A Stearman was giving rides, but I didn't take one (this is probably the most unusual paint job I ever saw on a Stearman). Well, maybeit depends on your viewpoint whether the P-51 was the highlight. This F-15 Eagle made the short trip over from Kingsley ANG Field in Klamath Falls.

It was also partly a car show, too. This Rolls Royce was in the hanger. Outside were some other cars, including these two mid-60s Dodges. They seemed somewhat similar, with the red one having a 426 Ramcharger engine, all beautifully restored. Interior shots of front and back showed that it was apparently a factory dragster, as revealed by no heater, no radio, and no rear seats. Very nice. While the white car was not nearly so well restored (or was it at all?), it did have one thing the other did not: a hemi engine.
