  • DH82A Tiger Moth
  • Another Polikarpov I-153

Transport and Toy Museum - Wanaka

They have a few airplanes at the T&T Museum, and lots of models.

  • Here is a model B-36.
  • This is an Antonov AN-2, said to be the biggest single engine biplane in the world.
  • New Zealand's Classic Airline, Pionair flew this passenger airplane.

    Croyden Aircraft Company LTD

Croyden is working on quite few airplanes, most of which I probably am not familiar with, but here they are, with as much info as I know:

  • How about this one? Here's a little nicer shot from the other side.
  • This Beech Staggerwing appears to be nearly complete, with some work remaining near the front.
  • I'm guessing this one is a DH82 Tiger Moth, and this one may also eventually be one.
  • Only starting on this one.
  • How about this nearly finished beauty? Here are closer shots of the engine compartment and the landing gear.
  • It looks like they have a ways to go on this one.
  • Here is a biplane and a detail shot of the inverted engine.
  • Know this one, anyone?
  • They have lots of wings ready or in preparation. They also give rides in some old aircraft, such as shown in this "not real good" picture of the flyer posted in their hanger.
